In May 2017, I had the pleasure of photographing Mark and Zi Kuan's wedding. After a civil ceremony at Berkhamsted Town Hall, the newlyweds and their guests headed to The Grove Hotel in Chandler's Cross near Watford for the wedding reception. Set in over 300 acres of beautiful countryside, this is a truly breathtaking wedding venue. The Mansion House is the romantic and historic old part of the hotel, and the reception took place here in the adjoining Donneraile and Garden Rooms.
Zi Kuan was a stunning bride in a mandarin-collar Asian-style qipao wedding dress and vintage-style 1940's pillbox hat with veil. Reception drinks were served on the terrace, overlooking the rolling countryside, and the formal gardens provided a magnificent backdrop for some romantic photos of the couple.
